Role Description: Tank
The primary role of a tank can be divided into two parts: Firstly, to acquire and hold the attention of enemies by utilizing taunt skills, and secondly, to withstand the harm inflicted by the enemies that have been taunted. Achieving both of these objectives ensures the safety of the damage dealers and healers in your group by preventing them from being directly targeted by the enemies.
Class Description: Templar
With a steadfast devotion to seeking out darkness wherever it may lurk, the Templar serves as both a guiding light for allies and a formidable adversary for enemies. As a Templar, your mission is to restore justice to Tamriel by wielding the purifying power of radiant light. Draw upon the boundless might of the sun to annihilate your foes and revitalize yourself and your comrades in a burst of radiant energy. Playing as a Templar, you will always serve as a guiding beacon in the darkness.
Recommended Race: Imperial
Imperial is the perfect race for players who want to be tanks, as they have a significant increase to both Health and Stamina, in addition to regaining all three resources (Health, Stamina, and Magicka) when dealing damage. Their ability to reduce the cost of all abilities also makes them an excellent choice for tanking. Tanks frequently use both Stamina and Magicka, so being able to regain them is a significant advantage, while the added Health is a great bonus. Although not the best choice for PvP, Imperials are still a solid option due to their valuable qualities.
